Austin’s Community of Kindness Awards Celebration

Chrestotes, the Greek term for “kindness”, is a special word. It is kindness that is serviceable; kindness that meets real needs, avoids harshness, and emphasizes the spirit in which an act is done.

We are inspired by people and stories that illuminate the places where compassion meets action, in the spirit of this “chrestotes” kindness.

Let’s spend an evening together celebrating the people and organizations across our city who are serving on the front-lines, and recognize those who have truly embraced “chrestotes” kindness.
